Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Fluoritiod Mystal HeavyEyes (Clan Mystal) joined the clan cave as its 191st member, only a few hours before the birth of his clan brother Fluoritios. Although born to different parents, the two are practically inseparable, spending every waking moment together engaged in one mischievous activity after another. Unlike his figurative twin, he is a rather languid, drowsy dragon who always seems to be two steps and three wing beats behind. It is rumored that he would prefer to lounge away the hours wrapped in a blanket of fragrant flowers, but is regularly prodded into action whether he wants to or not. With heavy, sleep laden eyes, he follows laboriously after Fluoritios, never wanting to disappoint his closest friend, if not would be brother. They seem polar opposites, a priceless dichotomy that expands and summarizes, contradicts and contrasts, their differing personalities. It is clear though; regardless of all else, that he is devoted to his clan brother, and neither ever walk alone!
