Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Fluoritzen GentleWake (after the gemstone: Fluorite) joined the clan cave as its 154th member, further confirming the certainty that spring had finally settled upon Clan Mystal. Unlike Fluorithica, he represents a calming, solid presence as he moves purposefully through the fields and forests surrounding the clan cave. With soft nudges, and gentle encouragement, he bids the newborn buds to spread their tender pedals and share their wondrous blossoms for all the world to see. His favorite time of day is just before the dawn, when the quiet stillness of the night still maintains its grasp. This is when he walks among the flowers and the trees, humming softly to stir the sleep from their limbs, the slumber from their blooms. Like them, he seems to have little worry, and no hurry from one moment to the next, knowing that all good things in their own due time. He is a paragon of patience, and peaceful persistence, with his head held high and wings outstretched, to bid the dawn good day.
