Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fluorishie Mystal ClearSky (Clan Mystal) was born into the clan cave as its 211th member, the third generation of pure Spring lineage. Like the dawn after a powerful spring rain, she radiates with a positive and uplifting attitude that mirrors the clear and blue sky. She very much takes after the females of her line, preferring the sweet, clean freshness of the early morning to any other time during the day, and she never misses a sunrise. She detests clouds that muddy the heavens, and will often take to the skies as if trying to chase them away from the clan cave. The Clan Mother wonders what she would do if she ever actually succeeded, but the clan elders are unconcerned, knowing that nothing, no matter how powerful or magical, could ever catch a cloud. In response to this, she seems even more determined to prove them wrong and diligently hones her skills, both physically and magically, to meet the challenge. One day perhaps, she will fly into a clear sky!
