Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fluorithica BrightDawn (after the gemstone: Fluorite) is the 153rd carrot of the clan cave, carried on the bright, glorious rays of spring's first dawn. The Clan Mother, the clan elders, and all the rest of the Mystal Clan carrots were in a buzz during those first few days after her discovery, spring fever having struck their hearts and minds with fervor. Growing in such an atmosphere had a profound impact, for she cherishes the dawning of each new day, and carries with her a vitality and strength unmatched throughout the land. She almost seems to radiate warmth and new life, as if the spirit of spring itself were embedded within her very soul. She loves to run and dance among the budding flowers, and fly among the fresh, new green leaves flittering through the tree tops. It is said that her joy awakens the world and all its creatures, and that her radiance entices closed hearts to open and swell. When she sleeps, so too do the sprites of spring, until she opens her eyes once more.
