Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fluoridith Mystal DarkSky (Clan Mystal) was born into the clan cave the 223rd member, a third generation, pure Clan Mystal spring dragon. Unlike many of his kind, he is a rather dreary dragon, probably because of the intense storms which occurred during his first few weeks of life. Where ever he goes, clouds seem to gather and the sky seems to darken, although The Clan Mother believes this is simply coincidence. He seems to accept his fate, as if comforted by the truth that there can be no recognition of happiness or joy without something dark and gloomy to compare it with. He tends to remain within the confines of the clan cave more often than not, emerging from its shelter primarily when the weather turns stormy and unwelcoming. Many think this a miserable existence, and some endeavor to bring him light and warmth by joining him at the darkest of times. He does not usually refuse them, and seems to enjoy the company when offered, in his own somewhat dark and lackluster way.
