Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Carmine can be pretty intense. In addition to her massive size and intimidating scowl, she has a super deep, menacing voice and the strength of about 400 oxen. To call her strong would be the understatement of the century. Carmine is not outwardly violent or hostile. She only ever goes for the kill when hunting or if she or her family are instigated first. Otherwise, she will typically rely on her looks alone to drive away potential enemies. The thing is though, Carmine is in love with eggs and hatchlings. She will literally go from monstrous beast to puppy dog the second she sees a hatchling. Despite her outward appearance, Carmine is highly attuned to her maternal instincts and will automatically protect any hatchlings or eggs she comes across, even if they aren't hers. She shares this habit with her mate, Fluorescent, who is good about taken care of the eggs and hatchlings they find. In fact, they tend to both the hatchery and daycare of their home sanctuary, so no hatchling is alone.
