Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

If you couldn't tell by her name, Imperial (Imp for short) is a prissy, superficial, and vain dragon. Having taken from much of her mother, Carmine's genes, Imp is very large, even for a Red. She flaunts this great size and strength, daring challenges to face her. Imp loves a good fight. She has a habit of seeking out strong dragons she thinks could be fun challengers and eggs them on. Her insistence to battle makes her kind of intimidating, especially with just how intense she can become. In these fights, Imp can be totally brutal. Since murder is outlawed on her home island, she avoids killing her foes, but she is know for leaving them with deep scars and broken snouts. While she is vain in the sense that she likes to keep her physical appearance well tended, Imp, more than that, views her status in how many tough opponents she's fallen. Up to this point, her record is spotless. Imp has defeated every opponent she's faced.
