Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Reddot siblings all seem to have their own, little niches. Imperial is a fighter, Rojo is an edgy rebel, Rustic is an ironworker, Rhubarb is a gardener. Yes, as his very natural name implies, Rhubarb enjoys working with plants, though he is still very much a carnivore. It's unknown when, how, or why he got into this trade, but he has gotten fairly good at it. He helps out a lot in his home sanctuary's farm and has his own, personal garden built into his den. He uses his natural warmth as a Red to help heat the soil during cold times. He's basically his own greenhouse heater, and an effective one at that. Rhubarb is also one of the friendliest Reds around. He's significantly smaller than others of his breed and has softer features, making him less overtly intimidating like the rest of his family. He also has a generally friendly, welcoming demeanor. He's a great cook, preparing grand feasts for his family during times of abundance. He's also known to give food to the unfortunate.
