It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Her name means "Splendid Child" in Japanese. She is the firstborn child of Katsuro and Ayame. She is a very beautiful dragon, and a fantastic singer. She has one of the most lovely voices in the entire colony. She fell in love with Kenta at a social gathering. He's the firstborn son of her father's best friend and adoptive brother. When they fell in love it was a perfect merger of the two families, or so they thought. After their first egg arrived they realized something terrible, their fathers might have been related only through adoption, but their mothers were actually related. Kenta and Eiko are related about 4-5 generations back. Their love is too strong though, so leaving each other never crossed their minds. They have however decided not to have anymore biological children. However, they look forward to expanding their family through adoption. Despite their weird relationship, they are madly in love, and always will be.
