Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Victorious Son" in Japanese. He's one of the many sons of Kentaro and Kiyomi, and was raised alongside his brother, and best friend, Kichiro. He is very loyal to his clan, and is a fierce hunter. He's usually just waking up when the other dragons are heading off to sleep, but he doesn't mind, he prefers the solitude. The only other dragons that he really enjoys spending time with are his parents, his brother, and his mate Ayame. She's a social butterfly though, so Katsuro often has to suffer through social events. It's not so bad though, as long as he remains by her side, and isn't expected to converse much with the others. He loves listening to Ayame's stories though, just the sound of her voice brings a smile to his face every time. They became mates on a beautiful winter night, with just family and the stars and moon bearing witness to their great and eternal love. They are soul mates, and look forward to being together, forever and for all time.
