Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. His name means "Luxuriant" in Japanese. He is the son of Kenta and Eiko. His parents were very surprised when he ended up being a Sunrise dragon, they were expecting another Sunset dragon. They were very happy with him though, always coddling him. He grew up with a good heart that knew how to love. He waited quite awhile before finding a female he loved enough to begin courting. That female was Mien. He fell in love with her spirit and beauty, and after they'd been courting awhile, she fell in love with him as well. When he asked her to be his mate, she didn't hesitate. They became mates soon after, and have been insanely in love ever since.
