Carmine Wyverns are active predators found most commonly in tropical regions. They have a poor sense of smell and are primarily dependent on sight and sound to hunt. These dragons are lightweight and quick, and tend to flee from rivals rather than attempt to fight. When a confrontation does occur it usually involves large amounts of posturing and displaying to make the wyverns appear larger and stronger than their opponents, and one will often surrender and leave without a fight ever actually occurring. They are dedicated parents and usually mate for life, though the degree of loyalty to a partner varies between individuals and within individual pairings.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lavish, as her name would suggest, is obsessed with her appearance. She is phenomenally vain, constantly showing off her luscious scales to those around her. This does serve a purpose, however. As a Carmine, Lavish is used to puffing out her chest to intimidate others. She postures herself and is aggressive towards others as a defense mechanism for both herself and her mate, Field. Like him, she cares about defending her family home, she just does it in a more abstract way. To be completely fair, it does kind of work, on other Carmines if no one else. Her strutting about does tend to get on the nerves of her new family, especially since she has quite the ego on her. But, at the very least, Field appreciates her help, even if he, too, can admit she's a claw full. For all her self-centeredness, Lavish does care for others. If any of her family are hurt or suffering, she'll do what she can to help. She's not one to take threats lightly and is sure to humiliate any who bully her family.
