Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Her nickname is Rosso, and she is named for a vibrant shade of red. Rosso is very refined and prissy, like her mother. She takes great pride in keeping her colorful scales meticulously groomed and cared for. In fact, her scales are so bright and fabulous that they attract swarms of insects. Very often, Rosso will strut about with a cavalcade of colorful butterflies following her. She's a delicate thing, every movement she makes is like that of a professional dancer. She simply radiates majesty. In personality, Rosso keeps up this same sort of refined etiquette. She is extremely polite, speaking a very flowery dialect of Draconic. Where she got this speech is yet to be determined since none of her family talks like this. It's possible she just made it up to sound fancier. That would fall in line with Rosso's innate need to keep up appearances. She always has to be the most stunning dragon around, no one prettier. Sometimes, she and her sister, Tart, will try to out-dazzle each other.
