Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Serrate is highly aggressive and active. He always seems to be on the prowl for fresh blood, or, at the very least, a safe place to hide during the day. Serrate is especially sensitive to sunlight, owing to his sporadic anxiety. He fries so much as a ray touches him, so he is adamant to remain in shadow at all times. Engaging him is quite difficult. He doesn't really acknowledge others as anything but food or a threat. In either case, his first reaction is to bite. There are exceptions, however. Serrate is known to be easily panicked by any mode of heat, not just sunlight but firelight as well. As such, he will avoid Fire and Light dragons like the plague, fleeing as soon as he spots one. Same goes for the magic of these elements. If he finds his prey is packing these kinds of magic, he'll leave them right alone, fearing burning far more than starving.
