Carmine Wyverns are active predators found most commonly in tropical regions. They have a poor sense of smell and are primarily dependent on sight and sound to hunt. These dragons are lightweight and quick, and tend to flee from rivals rather than attempt to fight. When a confrontation does occur it usually involves large amounts of posturing and displaying to make the wyverns appear larger and stronger than their opponents, and one will often surrender and leave without a fight ever actually occurring. They are dedicated parents and usually mate for life, though the degree of loyalty to a partner varies between individuals and within individual pairings.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tart, like her name (which refers both to her scale color and personality), is sweet. She is an affectionate little wyvern that prefers making friends to posturing and intimidating others. Her mother, Lavish, is highly protective of her and treats her almost like an adorable pet as opposed to a daughter. Her father, Field, is a little more strict with her and wants her to be self-sufficient, leading to some disagreement among the parents. Tart is reasonably intelligent and understands the perspectives of both her parents, though she is the first to take cover whenever their arguing escalates. She seeks to understand others. Tart doesn't like fighting, primarily because she is rather small for a Carmine and lacks a lot of the pomp and arrogance that they use to defend themselves. So, rather than try to force herself to fit that mold, she simply does the opposite. Tart is very friendly with others, if a bit tepid. She tends to rely on her parents to protect her since she is so feeble.
