Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Gentle, just, and proud, such as his parents had taught him, Aurean knew he was destined to, one day, rule the pack alongside his beautiful mate, Vanja. As it was expected of him, Aurean would often lead the hunt during the twilight, and teach the younger members when the moon was full, showing the same patience his father had used when he was but a reckless hatchling. Even when the little ones caused trouble in the Reserve, Aurean would apply fair punishment to educate them, not to frighten them.
During the day, Aurean often liked to fly down the mountains to the evergreen woodlands, where he would doze off laying in the refreshing waters of the stream, or spend endless hours chatting with his best friend, Valen. There was more to their friendship than met the eye, a love so enormous that pushed away breed and gender. When he was with Valen he was no longer the proud guide to a pack, he was not a Golden Wyvern, he was not a male. It was simply him loving with all his heart.
