Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Kenta was almost as old as her mate, Aurican, but there was still strength in her bones and muscles, and ferocity in her blue eyes. There was nothing she enjoyed more than the thrill of the hunt, and thus, even at her age, she would very often accompany the pack in search for prey. In her youth, Kenta had been ferocious, violent and impulsive, but the years she spent with Aurican showed her a more compassionate and respectful way to lead a hunt. The pack hunted together, trust was a necessity.
Kenta only prepared the pack for a hunt when it was necessary, and would often choose the largest and strongest of prey. The challenge it represented filled her with euphoria, as she enjoyed having to use the best of her skills to take it down. She would always try to make the kill was quick and painless as possible, for the spoils would feed and nurture her pack, helping them survive. It was only fair to respect the creature that was sacrificing its life for the survival of the pack.
