Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The eldest of the pack, Aurican was in charge of teaching the ways of their ancestors to the younger generations, a labor he took great pride in doing. During his youth he had been a capable hunter, but he had always enjoyed flying to the highest mountain peaks to meditate about the best and fairest ways to lead the pack and the ways of nature. He gained much knowledge from this escapades and, as he aged, he became a respected leader. His severity in applying the norms was toned down by his compassion and fairness, and although he made some mistakes, he tried as hard as he could to always be a mentor, a father and a companion, instead of a tyrant. Brute force was something he abhorred as he truly believed the ties between the members of his family had to be of trust and care.

Pride shone in his eyes as he saw what his pack had become. It had grown in number, skills and power, but over all, it was more than just a pack. It was family. His family.
