Rift Wyrms are dragons adapted to both the frigid depths of the sea and the void that exists in the space between spaces. They have the ability to rip holes in the fabric of space that lead into and out of the void, and can manipulate the size and location of these rifts with additional effort. Their bodies give off an unsettling chill, while their mouths tend to glow from the mana they’ve consumed. Between their appearance and their method of travel, Rift Wyrms have a reputation as eldritch creatures that do not belong in this world. They tend to have a mischievous streak facilitated by their abilities. This ranges by individual from harmless japery to active malevolence, and many people and dragons are wary of them. Despite their reputation as tricksters, these wyrms are curious and may choose to help others on a whim just as often as they decide to harm.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Though he may seem erratic and almost demonic, Alioth is truly harmless when compared to his mate, Darkness. She commands him almost like a lap dog, though he's under the impression that they work as a team. Though powerful and versatile, Alioth isn't very smart. Evidence shows he is easily manipulated and led on, always prompted by Darkness. On his own, he's fairly harmless. He derives pleasure from confusing and disorienting others, he'll only ever enact violence when riled up by Darkness. He is not normally the aggressive sort, he's more playfully witty than anything. When spurred on, though, he can be pretty dangerous, partly because he doesn't always know what he's doing. Despite having four eyes, Alioth lacks foresight, hence why he falls so readily into Darkness' traps. He lacks the wherewithal to question what could happen to himself or others if he goes through with half the things he does. And, sadly, he never seems to learn either.
