Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Given that his father and two elder siblings are Avatars of Destruction, Asaiyuki feels somewhat out of place in his family unit. Naturally, he relates the most with his White Dragon mother. He greatly admires the courage that led her to heal his father when she found the Destruction Avatar injured, leading the rather-unlikely match to fall in love. Yuki himself spends a lot of time thinking of love, immersing himself in poetry and teaching other Sylvain clan healers spells to heal those who are dear to them. An utterly starry-eyed thinker at heart, Yuki is enthralled by the idea of the point in time love begins, of that first time a flicker of affection becomes a spark that ignites a love that burns eternally, so he says.
