Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tonight For Me Will You Be Here, Tomere Draekon, is one of the offspring of Songaby Draekon (Sing Sing to Me) and Holdclose Draekon (Hold Me Close Hold Me Near). His parents and grandparents are all songdragons, in the musical group of dragons in the cave, and he is no exception. Although he's part of the group more due to his lineage than anything else, because of his family, he has grown to enjoy singing. His mate, Timea Draekon (That Was There the Whole Time), doesn't sing, but she does enjoy listening to him. Nocturne dragons are naturally strong flyers, and he no doubt does his species justice with his own flight skills. He does tricks in the sky, from loops to spirals. During the day when the sun is out, he takes his time to help guard the cave, from lofty perches up high in the stone. On his downtime, he rests with Timea and enjoys long conversations with other dragons in the cave, making friends as easily as his grandmother, Whispersong Draekon (Whisper it Into My Ear).
