Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
The Joy You Bring, or Bringjoy Draekon, comes from two very different lineages. With her father, Tomere (Tonight For Me Will You Be Here) and her mother, Timea Draekon (That Was There the Whole Time), she has a paw in two distinct families. She, like her father, sings with the musical dragons in the cave. Also like her mother, being a Pillow, she sleeps very much! As a Nocturne, though, a dragon that becomes 'frozen' during the day, this is no big feat for her. She easily sleeps through the entire day, with her loyal mate, Promise Draekon (I Promise to Love You Forever), often watching over her. Her mate, being a White dragon, doesn't hunt. They do share what he forages for, though. She treasures these quiet moments, but doesn't hesitate to socialize with other dragons, too. She's not one to have a specific group of close friends, but rather, prefers to, as her name implies, bring all dragons joy with her energy.
