Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Banished Quasiroyal has been described in many different ways: elegant and mysterious; cruel and intimidating. She's rarely been seen since the days of her hatching, and became invisible upon maturing. Regardless of how few have actually seen her, myths have sprung up around her mere existence, saying that her blood is blue, that her life force is tied to the existence of the universe.

Those that have caught a glimpse say that she's a malevolent, cold being, who bites eggs to turn them into such horrifying creatures that even those of her clan can't stand them.

Nobody dares to try to kill her, though, just in case some of the stories told have a shred of truth in them. Dragons scoff at it, asking how a vampire, the most terrible breed, could ever hold the universe in her heart and blood, but they've never tested it.

They can't be sure if myths really are fantasy, and if facts aren't really false. She's mysterious enough to might as well be the lifeblood of the Dragon Cave.
