Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Candlelight Phantasma comes out when there is candlelight.

At least, it's what the old stories say. Nobody's seen him.

He's said to be a faint phantom, ghosting around the edges of candlelit homes, the shadows formed by a fire as it blazes into the sky, barely visible except for the white "mask" and silvery patterns. He would locate an egg lit up by the flames, bite into it, and steal it away to his lair to raise. People doubt the stories, as is normal.

But recently, there has been more news of the tragedies of dead eggs, of strange, dead-looking eggs filling the abandoned pile, of a faint presence that disappears once you look over your shoulder.

The Phantasma is never seen, but is always there—according to the stories.

The Phantasma will not stop, once he's started on his meal of blood and bones—according to the stories.

The Phantasma himself cannot undo his spell, once he's started- according to the stories.

It's all according to the stories.
