Soulstone Dragons are deeply empathic creatures. The pearls which they carry with them from a very young age are deeply attuned to the emotions of those around them, glowing in accordance with the strength and sincerity of the bonds individuals share with one another. Soulstone dragons have the ability to show that, even in the heat of a vicious feud, the love that friends, family, and partners share for one another remains true and strong.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Butterfly is a demure, charming creature. Her horns and markings are even more vibrantly metallic than those of other Soulstones. Even the violet and purple parts of her are gently metallic. Her tail is longer than usual, too, giving her the benefit of improved balance and grace. All of this gives Butterfly an unusual look that sets her out amongst her Soulstone sisters. Her mother Lepidoptera smugly ascribes her daughter's appearance to the fact that her father is Eminence, the wild-born Gold. (Butterfly's mother is proud of having won the Gold male's attention during the Festival of Love one year, given how many other female dragons were competing for his attention—including her own sister, Flutter By!) Like her namesake, Butterfly likes flowers and bright colors. Her hoard is almost as much dried flowers hung from the walls as it is conventional treasure. Butterfly has accepted a golden male, Petalpearl, as her mate, and rewards his faithfulness with her own unshakeable loyalty.
