Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Being the heir apparent to the Royal Valley, Vuthafoc Rahargan felt it his duty to be a strong and powerful leader of his people. His strong determination to be the best he could be in the fields of combat and public praise meant he often neglected other sides of being a ruler. The sudden intervention of his parents deciding to also crown his younger brother Prothagron narrowly avoided the complete collapse of many alliances held by the Royal Valley. Famously, Vuthafoc refused to go to his brother's coronation, enraged he wasn't consulted first.
Despite his fury, the elder Prince tried to get along with his brother, to maintain his public appearance. The two ruled well together for years, until Prothagron's first egg was lost to illness. The younger Prince then vanished, meaning that Vuthafoc was once again the only ruler. Soon, the Valley starved, as the elder Prince never was good with finances. Vuthafoc felt his people's hatred of him, and finally abdicated, weary of the throne.
