Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Queen of Royal Valley, Sjaclun, could not be more different that her lord husband. Whilst Shehad is always praised for being kind and wise, the Queen is almost universally feared. Her strong hand and fierce belief in justice is the perfect balance to her King's forgiving nature and kind spirit. As such, the two were able to rule the Royal Valley like yin and yang for a very long time.

However, eventually, Sjaclun tired of ruling, wanting to spend more time with her mate. She felt that the growth of her elder son, Vuthafoc, meant he was ready to rule, as he had shown himself to be a popular figurehead. Yet her King disagreed, believing the younger son, Prothagron, to be more promising as a leader. After several days of vicious arguing (Mostly initiated by Sjaclun herself), the pair agreed to allow both of their sons equal power in governing the Valley, and also agreed to not interfere.
