Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The sire of the Rahargan line, Shehad is the strong, wise king of the Royal Valley. Along with his queen, Sjaclun, he watches over his Kingdom, protecting it from harm. It is unknown what his true age really is, but estimates place him at around 7500 years old, almost as old as the valley itself. The uncertainty around his age makes it impossible to determine what his life was like before becoming a ruler, and he himself is oddly quiet about his past. All that is known is his friendship with a particular human, who has long since passed away of age.

Despite his own age, Shehad is still very much a competent leader and father. Earlier in his life, he enjoyed sports of the wing such as racing and finesse competitions, and played an active role in the governing of his kingdom. At the present, he spends his time with his queen, relaxing under moonlight, leaving the kingdom to his sons, Vuthafoc and Prothagron. Endless tales have been told of Shehad's kindness, intelligence and majesty.
