When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Haggis the Magnificent learned a few things from his mother, Anat Adara. Thanks to a few well-timed displays of power, she convinced an entire land of humans that she's actually a river goddess. Haggis draws on this myth for his own betterment, remaining in Adara where folk believe he is godly. He's not actually done anything to earn the moniker "Magnificent", though he believes that his looks are plenty enough to warrant such pomp. No one really gave him the name; it's just how he introduced himself to the mindless two-legged peons.

He piggy-backed on his mother's tributes until she found out, leading to a fearsome battle between the two. Haggis lost, but he'd swayed enough priests in his favor that they nursed him back to health and built a pond-side temple just for him. It may be smaller than his mother's domain, but he's happy enough being waited on to overlook the size...at least until his humans manage to conquer something better just for him.
