When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Haggis the Lost Sailor grew up in Clan In'sh'ALLAH, a clan of exceptionally talented bards. As he grew, however, his legs began to disappear, and his mother told him that he must seek out his father and live as he does, in the water. Haggis was most grieved to leave the clan of his birth, and even more grieved when he learned (after years of searching) that his father was a pompous tyrant.

With nowhere to go, Haggis roamed the sea. Some days the gales are howling. Sometimes the sea is still as glass. Now the shorelines beckon; there is a price for being free. Haggis roamed, seeking a magi dragon who might return his legs, but instead was tricked by his half-uncle, a daydream named Haggis the Ridiculous. Now he's driftin', driftin' and dreamin'. He swims in circles, swearing that he hears Clan In'sh'ALLAH calling on the wind, but he's really going on a dream now.
