Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Shana abuses her affinity with electricity, sneaking up behind unwary dragons than giggling with joy as they jump fifty feet into the air in shock. Such antics were amusing when she was a hatchling, and when her shocks were less charged, but as she grew older the strikes grew more powerful, and more frequent. While Shana is a powerful conductor, her mind is less occupied than most, and she cannot comprehend how badly her shocks affect water dragons, and their surrounding environment. Many a frazzled dragon has swam into the cave requesting a new home, their old one now being a maze of charcoal and dead fish. Shana always promises to stop, but she can never quite resist the temptation of sending her nasty surprise, and can never quite remember the reason against shocking people anyway. At first water dragons began to coat themselves in insulating rubber, but they soon found the problems swimming with wrapped in a giant rubber bag, and took to splashing Shana whenever she comes near.
