Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Slightly smaller than the average vampire, Eros is embarrassed of his mint heritage unto the point where even the faint smell of mint can make him feel sick. Although most of the vampire dragons are embarrassed of their previous breed, Eros takes this to extremes, as he varies between tormenting the mints for being "large lizards" and avoiding them completely. Eros' cavern is filled with burning incense which hides the minty odor that only he seems to smell, and he eats alone, paranoid that someone might be sneaking mint into his food. Over time, this has developed so he won't eat any green food, believing it to be disguised mint and completely ignoring the dragons who are trying to persuade him they really really don't care whether or not he eats mint. Though most of the clans laugh it off as an odd quirk, it is becoming an annoyance to his clan-mates who have to put up with him waking up in a cold sweat each night.
