Among the most elusive of dragon breeds are the Aeon Wyverns, a breed whose innate control over time mana marks them singular and great. They are able to peer into the multi-dimensional plane of time, seeing all that is, all that has been, and all that could be—within a small localized zone. When utilizing particularly strong magic, the black markings carved into an Aeon’s body glow a bright cyan, painting them in an ethereal blue light. In the past, they have been sought after as oracles to bring swift resolutions to major conflicts, but it is in exactly such sorts of times that they are nowhere to be found; rather than influence the outcome, Aeons much prefer to allow the natural order of things to progress, however grim that may be.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Stridency is a retired seer for Tango Tory. He was discovered hanging around the Yawning Gap (which he didn't realize was a favorite site of explorers), and the dragons really wanted his precognition services. Out of politeness and unwillingness to risk trouble, he reluctantly accepted, and he would spend the next 35 years telling fortunes before he decided to move onto other activities. He never used enough mana to make substantial predictions for customers, believing it a waste of resources. Instead, he spent just the tiniest bit to make it appear that he used magic at all. 35 years reluctantly doing work for others seems like a long time, but had to admit that getting paid to "predict" futures and research mystical traditions (the latter of which he was doing anyway before he was found) was very convenient. Now, for an aeon wyvern, he is adept at navigating social interactions and has extensive experience managing disappointed customers as well as being disappointed in others.
