Lunar Heralds are deeply attuned to the two moons of Valkemare, Aurax and Cirion. Strictly nocturnal, they draw energy from moonlight and will only hunt when the moons have waned. When breeding, the amount of moonlight the parents receive from each moon will determine the color of the egg produced. When a Lunar Herald is struck by direct moonlight, an illusion of multiple wings may appear. Witnessing a Lunar Herald’s illusory wings is commonly believed to be a sign of good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Quite the wise, illusive dragon, Champagne never seems to stay in one place at any given time, not until the sun comes up, anyway. During the night, he will frequently move around, soaring across the open sky and exploring new areas to his heart's content. Champagne isn't much of a talker. Though not openly aggressive (in fact, he hates fighting in any regard), he can be rude and pushy towards others, especially if they're bothering him in some way. Champagne is known for being an impressive flier. He uses high-speed dives to build up momentum and glide faster across open terrain. He's also maneuverable enough to navigate tight, winding spaces. This all owes to his habit of speeding away from anyone who may try to follow him. No one has ever managed to catch him, since he will always disappear into some dark alcove or shadow, never be seen again until the next night. It's almost become a game to him, encouraging him to practice and hone his flight skills even more.
