Pyrovar Dragons live at high altitudes in areas with lots of volcanic activity. They are commonly associated with geysers and hot springs and enjoy soaking in the scalding water. Females bury their eggs in these areas warmed by geothermal energy and abandon them soon after. As a result, these dragons are territorial and solitary from a young age. Despite their affinity with water they have powerful flame breath and fire magic. They are entirely carnivorous and utilize a variety of hunting styles, from chasing down prey from the air to lying in wait beneath the water’s surface to ambush any unwitting creatures that wander by.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Every day, when Asleep returns to her lean-to, she declares, "I've had a rough day!" to nobody in particular. A rather fierce dragon, her appearance alone is enough to deter curious questions. It's kind of fun for those around her to guess what she does by looking at the assortment of objects around her home. There are shiny things, wooden things, thin things, fabric things, and lots of round rocks. Nothing there, even the jewels, is so valuable to her that she makes a fuss whenever something goes missing. When she returns to her area after sunhigh, she says, "I've had a rough day!", looks around, wrinkles her brow and sneers as if noticing something has disappeared, and resumes her daily routine of checking the bulletin and then heading to the springs without a fuss.
