Sapo Dragons are a playful aquatic breed of dragon with soft, slippery scales. They are known for the beautiful, vibrant colors of their fins, which grow more vivid as they age, and for the bubbles they create. A Sapo may make bubbles to decorate their underwater nests, mark their territory, greet another dragon, or simply because they feel like it. Their delicate skin and thin scales are prone to external parasites, and so Sapo dragons are also fastidious groomers who will spend a considerable amount of time cleaning themselves, even using their bubbles to help blast away any unwanted debris.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chaohusaurus is a peppy, excitable dragon who manages to find interest in everything. He's been talked into doing all manner of chores and errands, like holding things to each other while waiting for glue to dry, going to a lecture in his brother Mash's place where he understood almost nothing about the subject, piecing together a dozen scrolls that were ripped to bits, and sitting in a water basin and recording all the animals that wander by. He seemed genuinely happy doing them, treating them as unique experiences. Certain parts of the population in the neighboring town know Chaohusaurus as the top-level Minihex player, and it's rumored he's such a quick picker because he practices movements in water. Most of them are unaware that he is just seen as a chores-doer in his own town.
