Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ocsedhi Dyonysus is a delicate blusang, though he is less reserved than he looks. He quickly grew tired of the constant courting of many of his clanmates and left to find a partner who would remain by him season after season. Although he now lives with Cheki Slavakia off the coast near where the Drowned Mountains approach the Outer Ocean, he is still on good terms with his family and wyrmlinghood friends, frequently returning to the volcanoes to visit his parents and ex- clanmates.

While he is not as good at it as his mother, Ocsedhi is quite skilled at healing magic. However, those he heals often report an intense, painful burning sensation while his magic mends the wound(s). He loves long flights with his mate and strong wine—some have claimed that he could out-drink a plated colossus, though he refuses to engage in such rowdy behavior.
