Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Death Strike has always been a feisty dragon. Since hatching he has been a handful for his mother. As a hatchling, his main hobby consisted of picking fights with the other dragons which meant racing them or "playfully" striking them with his whip-like tail. His speed was always superior to the other hatchlings of his Tribe, therefore he many times received chastisement for teasing the other hatchlings and dancing out of harm's way when they tried to retaliate. But since meeting Eylisial, his mate, his temperament has somewhat mellowed.
Since he was the first male to be hatched in his Tribe, he, in a way, controls it. He breaks up fights and makes sure everyone has enough to eat. But, like Quaking Aspen, he doesn't care for the job of leadership. He has debated many times with Aspen about making Flaming Surf king, however, Death Strike believes he lacks the assertive personality needed to control the Tribe.
