Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Death's Whip, or Whip for short, is very unlike his father, Death Strike, for whom he was named after. Though his father is extremely competitive, he never means harm to whoever he teases. Whip, however, is merciless to anything he comes across when bored. Though his kind is not particularly strong, he prides himself on his lightning speed and is able to cause serious damage to anything he feels like hurting, whether it be humans, prey, or other dragons--many times even the Tribe's eggs and hatchlings. One spring morning, Whip was in his most dangerous mood: boredom. That day, he stole a hatchling from the nursery, and tormented it until it died. Because of Whip's moods and actions, the Tribe consider him something of a threat, and some are all for exiling him from their ranks. But some dragons, such as his mother Eylisial, who only see the good in dragons, plead with the Tribe to let him stay.
