Sophos Cantormaris Dragons are a kind, caring breed of coastal-dwellers. Their annual migrations at the start of spring are among the first indications that winter has ended. They use their melodic calls to lure people with a yearning for enlightenment to them in a desire to help and share their vast knowledge to those in need. It is considered a sign of luck for one to hear their calls.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tsuzuru likes collecting storybooks, particularly anthologies of legends and fables that teach life lessons. His favorite tales involve happy endings, so he finds that he spends less time reading tragic stories, especially when he's sharing his current reading material with his younger siblings. One day the hatchlings asked Tsuzuru why he didn't just think up some happier versions of some of the tragedies for storytime. Tsuzuru figured that if everyone knew the sad version of the story already, there was no harm in writing more hopeful variations that taught the same lesson. Nowadays, it's common to see Tsuzuru telling his alternate ending stories to hatchlings sitting around him in a circle, munching on fish and other snacks. Sometimes the parents drop by too, curious to hear the new endings, and that leads to the whole family and their friends sitting in on storytime.
