Mundus Cantormaris Dragons are a gentle, friendly breed of coastal-dwellers. Their annual migrations at the start of spring are among the first indications that winter has ended. They use their beautiful calls to lure people with a desire for peace to them in an attempt to make lasting friendships. It is considered a sign of good luck for one to hear their calls.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kamekichi loves to go scavenging for little trinkets and treasures to give his sweetheart, but he's always fussing about whether he's giving the best gifts or not. To make sure he always gave gifts that his mate wanted, he thought up a scheme to get her to indirectly tell him what gifts she was hoping for. Kamekichi set up an elaborate rock carving studded with hidden veins of time and air mana, and told his mate the local legend was that gift wishes whispered to the sculpture would come true. The mana combined into a spell that allowed Kamekichi to hear what his mate had whispered, and then find the desired gift. Eventually Kamekichi's mate figured out what was happening, and then simply wished for him to realize that she was happy with any gift he gave her, and that he didn't need to worry. Both of them have since left the sculpture alone, as it's started to receive visitors from other dragon couples who are too shy to ask about courting gifts directly.
