Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

She had finally found it. The home of the human vermin that had led so many bounty hunters into her clan's territory. He was clever enough to have his guards watch the skies, but he had forgotten something important. It wasn't only water dragons that could swim.

Under the cover of night she silently slipped into the dark water, making only the faintest of splashes. Only her eyes and nostrils appeared above the surface of the water, looking like the mother of all crocodiles.

So many of her family had been injured by the hunting parties, only the aid of the white dragons had managed to prevent any deaths, but now no one would need to fear.

It took some time to swim down the stream that fed into the moat around the house. She passed two guards, determinedly staring upwards, looking for silhouettes against the stars, and pulled herself onto the shore near the back of the house.

Spying an open doorway, she crept into the gloom.

'The children first' she thought, 'So he can watch.'
