Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Even though she does not have much physical strength Master Cyclonis is still considered one of the strongest warriors in the territory. Her reputation is mainly due to her prowess with magic and she is easily one of the best spellcasters in the family.

Although she rarely engages in combat herself, if she merely appears on the battlefield it strikes fear into the hearts of her enemies, few of which still survive.

In moments of peace, she devotes herself to studying magical lore, spending hours reading manuscripts and scrolls in her private cave and even stealing books on magic from human settlements.

She has no time for humans outside of devouring them, but she does have some respect for the human girl that adopted her when she was abandoned by her parents.
