Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Taint is very reserved, keeping to himself except when around his three best friends: Eris, Astarte, and Deana. The four are often found at summit of Celestiale Cascate watching the sunset through the churning mist of the waterfall, not saying a word but just enjoying each others' presence.

Taint is a very thorough thinker, analyzing the world from behind deep blue eyes. His eyes are his big trademark; he is the only one in his family to have anything but gold.

Like his friend Deana, Taint has history with the Creorluna clan. And it's not pleasant. The clan performed experiments on him using strong magics, the presence of which changed his eyes color.

Taint was almost killed by the intake of power and he has no control over it. They are far more likely to kill him than his enemies.

Fortunately, he doesn't remember too much of his time in Creorluna. Nor how he got free. All that he remembers is Deana. The two have a very close bond and are rarely seen apart despite Deana's touchy mate.
