Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Colors has touches of the same magic her father, Taint, has. Her eyes, like his, are brilliant blue and spider-webbing her skin, carved in ammolite, are glowing blue markings. She is boiling hot to the touch; so much so that she actually scalded Radice when he was a hatchling.
When she gets excited, she starts steaming; even once lit up electric blue with heat. It couldn't have been very pleasant. She passed out and didn't awaken again for six months and still she hasn't been right of mind since. Its likely that if she got excited enough, the heat could kill her.
This is as far as the magic goes on her, thankfully.
Still others have to be careful around her. She goes through more lucid states, smart enough to rival anyone. But most of the time, her mind is so far gone she doesn't even know her own name for certain. To remind herself, she has gotten in the habit of painting her memories on her wings, becoming a living mural.
