Wary of all strangers, the elusive Amalthean Dragons cloak themselves in mist to avoid detection. The water sources they live near are astonishingly clear and pure, and have been found to contain medicinal properties. These dragons are known for their ability to cure any disease, wound, or poison, as well as the purification of any water they come across. A blessing from an Amalthean Dragon is said to increase longevity, though they are very selective of who they will heal. An Amalthean’s horn grows from the same wood as a White Dragon’s staff and is highly sought after for its ability to channel and store potent life magic.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Proud and majestic, Myth carries himself like a regal prince, marching everywhere he goes with his head held high. He's quite the arrogant creature, priding himself on his mythical magic and astonishingly good looks. He spends a good portion of his time grooming himself and ensuring his mane is as lavish as it can be. To be healed by him is not just a rare honor, it's a legitimate challenge. Myth thinks so little of others, that he hardly ever uses his healing abilities on anybody but himself. Even when he does decide to use his magic for the good others, it's usually because he's getting something out of it. Myth may be one of the only Amaltheans that will accept payment for healing; he can be truly shameless. Although, the prices he asks for are completely outrageous. Only the richest of kings could afford his demands, so it's better just to pass on his offers. Though gaudy and full of himself, Myth really isn't all he's cracked up to be. He's actually one of the weaker in his brood.
