Wary of all strangers, the elusive Amalthean Dragons cloak themselves in mist to avoid detection. The water sources they live near are astonishingly clear and pure, and have been found to contain medicinal properties. These dragons are known for their ability to cure any disease, wound, or poison, as well as the purification of any water they come across. A blessing from an Amalthean Dragon is said to increase longevity, though they are very selective of who they will heal. An Amalthean’s horn grows from the same wood as a White Dragon’s staff and is highly sought after for its ability to channel and store potent life magic.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Einhorn is the definition of an altruist. She marches to the beat of her own drum and lives by her own values. She believes all draconics should be treated equally, even if they may not be in reality. She rejects the ideas of status, strength, and intelligence as a way of judging someone as better, and instead focuses solely on character. She definitely has some sass to her. She never puts up with nonsense and can dish out insults sharper than any knife if she is offended or even questioned. Einhorn is highly intelligent and a genius when it comes to reading others. She has a way of pinpointing the sources of turmoil in one's life and using them to either help or hurt them, depending on the situation. She is a bit closed off, however. She prefers staying close to those she fully trusts, like her husband, Stretch. She is also pretty close with her cousin, Angelika. The two of them share a similar set of values, though they don't always agreed with one another. Then, they have debates.
