Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kin-Hansamu is the result of a unique situation. His mother, Kin-Mio desperately wanted a baby, but didn't want a mate just yet. She went to Hanuke and Kuroi-Yimei for help. They all discussed it, and agreed that Hanuke would sire an egg for her. Kin-Hansamu was raised by his mother and his aunts Serafina and Kingusari; but Hanuke and Kuroi-Yimei kept close to the little family, and acted as an aunt and uncle to Kin-Hansamu. His name means "Gold, Handsome" in Japanese. He is a bit of a silly dragon, especially for a Gold. He loves to tell jokes, and to socialize with pretty much anyone. He met his mate Fonah while at a gathering on the beach. They hit it off right away, and began spending more and more time together. Soon enough they were officially courting. Then on a beautiful fall night, they became eternal mates. They look a little odd together, a regal and gleaming Gold and a brightly colored Blue-Banded; but they love each other so much, and they always will.
