Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Kin-Mio's name means "Gold, Beauty" in Japanese. She's best friends with Serafina, and is the biological daughter of Kin-Furaito and Hikari, but was raised by Hikari and her mate Kichi. Kin-Furaito wanted to continue his bloodline, and Hikari was the only dragoness in the colony who could make that happen. So she agreed to produce a golden offspring with him. Kin-Furaito visited frequently, but Kin-Mio was raised as a daughter of Hikari and Kichi. Kin-Mio has grown into a beautiful dragoness, and was one of the most sought after females in the entire colony. However, Bjorg is the lucky male who won her heart, by saving her. She was being hunted by an evil human, and just as he was about to strike the final blow, Bjorg's shield came crashing between the two. That man was the first, and so far only, human that Bjorg has killed. Bjorg and Kin-Mio began courting soon after, and became mates on a beautiful fall day. They are madly in love, and will be for the rest of their eternal lives.
