Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Like his brother, Achilles, Toad is very shy and tepid, though, unlike him, he can't hide it near as well. Toad typically isolates himself, finding secluded ponds or tide pools to hang out around where it's quiet. He will also go near riverbeds, but never risks attempting to skate on them. He has great reverence for his mother, Einhorn. Whenever she speaks, he listens without a single delay. He truly admires her and her confidence and would love nothing more than to obtain such courage in the future. Of course, how he would do that, he has no idea. Though tepid, he is generally friendly and noninvasive. He tends to keep to himself and his private thoughts. Any conversations he winds up in (that aren't with Einhorn) he'll usually drift off during. And, no, that's not just because there are many Daydreams in his family, he does it with everyone. For all his faults, Toad is imaginative. He's a visionary at heart, coming up with wild ideas he simply doesn't have courage to reveal.
